Aloha. Welcome to The Dard Roast Farm on The Big Island of Hawaii.
Our 100% Kona Coffee is hand picked from trees that
grow at the intersection
of two ancient volcanoes, Hualalai and Mauna Loa. To be called Kona
Coffee it must be grown within a narrow band of volcanic soil twenty
miles long and two miles wide known as the Kona Coffee Belt in West
Hawaii. [Map
of our location] $14 lb.
Call in an order toll free to Dard or Penei at (888) 328-9239 or Order
On Line. "I have been drinking your great
coffee. It was evenly roasted and
wonderfully dark. The taste is terrific. Very nice job." - Cortland
Cammann, Ann Arbor, MI 10/25/09
We grow, process, market and
celebrate
100% Kona Coffee. "Without my morning coffee I'm just
like a dried up piece of roast goat." Johann
Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
You can select the specific roast that
you prefer. The coffee will not be roasted
until I am notified of your purchase.
You can also select the style, color and label of the coffee bag. It is heat
sealed to preserve freshness. A valve in back allows you to smell
the fresh aroma of our roasted coffee before even opening the bag. It
will carry the unique seal of approval and authenticity from the
Kona Coffee Council:
Kona Coffee has developed a
reputation around the world as one of the finest coffees available. Call me to set up a tour
of the farm
including roasting coffee to your specifications and sampling our Chocolate
Covered Kona Peaberry Coffee Beans.
A cup of 100% Kona Coffee has distinct terroir: unique
qualities based on the climate conditions, soil quality, seasonal
temperatures, etc. that influence the growth and development of our
coffee beans. This Coffee Tasting Wheel has been developed to assist
in distinguishing diverse tastes and aromas.
To qualify for
a chance to win a pound of Kona Coffee through the
monthly drawing please become a Fan of The Dard Roast Farm on Facebook. Canadian Crystal Dohie is our June 2010 winner (2nd Canadian in a row!). We try to
keep you informed on a regular basis about what's happening personally
and in our industry through the Kona
Coffee Blog and Twitter.
